As a Locum MD in Ob/Gyn, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive care to our patients, assisting with diagnosis, treatment, and management of various obstetric and gynecological conditions. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
  • Conduct examinations, screenings, and diagnostic tests
  • Develop treatment plans that consider patient histories and preferences
  • Perform surgical procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
  • Educate patients on health and wellness topics related to women's health
  • Document patient interactions and care provided accurately
  • Engage in community outreach to promote women's health awareness

Requirements

  • MD degree from an accredited medical school
  • Current medical license to practice in the state
  • Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Strong clinical skills and bedside manner
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Call Requirement: 24-hour L&D shifts (1:6-1:8 rotation), post-call day off

Setting: Outpatient and sporadic inpatient shifts

3 ultrasound rooms

Level III NICU

Daily Volume: 40 clinic patients, 20 OBED patients, 6-12 deliveries

Required Procedures: IUD insertion

Support Staff: MFM, MA, RN, and ultrasound techs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Paid travel and expenses
