This contract position is an on-site role that offers a unique opportunity to provide quality healthcare while working with a dedicated team in the staffing and recruiting industry.

As a Locum MD, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional obstetric and gynecological care to our patients. Your expertise will not only enhance patient outcomes but also contribute to our mission of providing outstanding medical services. 

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Perform surgical procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Stay current with medical guidelines and best practices in Ob/Gyn
• Participate in patient education and counseling
• Respond to medical emergencies as they arise

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Ob/Gyn
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: 24-hour beeper call shifts, 7a-7a

Setting: Inpatient

Delivery Volume: 2-3 per day, 1k annually

Procedures: Circumcisions, D&C

Will cover the emergency room

Support Staff: Midwife

EMR: Allscripts

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
