This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the medical practice community while providing essential care to our patients.

As a Locum MD in Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive women's health services, including prenatal care, delivery, and gynecological examinations. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care during your tenure.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct routine examinations and prenatal check-ups
• Manage labor and delivery processes
• Perform surgical procedures as needed
• Consult and collaborate with other medical staff
• Educate patients on health maintenance and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in Ob/Gyn practices

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
• Experience in obstetrics and gynecology (Associate level)
• Strong clinical skills and a patient-focused approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Schedule: 24-hour call coverage

Setting: Inpatient

Daily Volume: 1-3 inpatients, 1-3 deliveries, 2-4 NST/observations

Daily rounding required

Must be comfortable with vaginal deliveries and c-sections

Will provide ED consultations as needed

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
