We are currently seeking a Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology . As a Locum MD Ob/Gyn.  you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical services to our clients. Your expertise in women's health will be instrumental in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare facilities. As a Locum MD Ob/Gyn , you will be involved in a variety of projects ranging from prenatal care and childbirth to gynecological surgeries and reproductive health. Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to obstetric and gynecologic patients.
  • Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures as needed.
  • Conduct prenatal visits and assist in childbirth deliveries.
  • Diagnose and treat various women's health conditions and disorders.
  • Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately.
  • Educate patients on preventive healthcare practices and treatment options.
  • Adhere to medical protocols, regulations, and ethical standards in all patient interactions.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a physician.
  • Proven experience in providing obstetric and gynecologic care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts Monday-Thursday, 24-hour shifts Friday-Sunday

Responsibilities: ER consults, GYN surgeries

Support Staff: OBGYN & midwife

EMR: Epic

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
