We are currently seeking a Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services in the Warren area. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the well-being of patients and supporting the healthcare team. Responsibilities:

• Conducting medical examinations and assessments of obstetric and gynecological patients.
• Developing and implementing patient care plans in line with best medical practices.
• Performing surgical procedures related to obstetrics and gynecology.
• Providing consultations to patients regarding their health concerns.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Keeping accurate medical records and documentation.
• Participating in medical rounds and case conferences.
• Staying updated on the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Valid medical license to practice in the Warren area.
• Proven experience in providing obstetric and gynecological care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Schedule: 24-hour beeper call (Friday 8a-Tuesday 8a), specific dates

Expected Patient Volume: 2 or fewer deliveries

Will only be called in for mother/baby in distress or c-sections

Midwives take first call

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
