As a Locum MD in Ophthalmology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting eye examinations, diagnosing and treating a variety of eye conditions, and performing surgical procedures when necessary. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assessments
  • Diagnose and treat ocular diseases and disorders
  • Perform surgical procedures as required
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Educate patients on eye health and preventive care
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in ophthalmology
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development

Requirements

  • MD degree with specialization in Ophthalmology
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state
  • 3-5 years of experience in ophthalmology
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

Patient Volume: 12 per shift

Duties: Eye exams, refractions, prescribing corrective lenses, diagnosing and managing ocular diseases, disorders, and injuries, etc.

EMR: RPMS

Any active, unrestricted U.S. license accepted

Must be board-certified
