As a Locum MD in Pediatrics, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality medical care to children and adolescents. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical evaluations and treatment plans for pediatric patients
- Conduct routine check-ups and preventive care
- Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses and conditions
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding health concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
- Ensure compliance with all medical regulations and standards of care
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with a focus on Pediatrics
- Current medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in pediatric care, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of medical practice
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the practice
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
No call requirement
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Census: 12-14 per day
Patient Population: Infants, children, and adolescents
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Any active, unrestricted U.S. state medical license accepted
Paid travel & expenses
