 This contract position offers a unique opportunity for entry-level professionals looking to make a significant impact in the medical practice industry while providing essential care to children and families in the community.

As a Locum MD in Pediatrics, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to pediatric patients, conducting examinations, diagnosing conditions, and recommending treatment plans. You will work closely with our experienced healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and support to our young patients. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of pediatric patients
• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient care
• Educate patients and families on health practices and preventative care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in on-call duties as needed
• Stay informed about the latest medical developments and practices

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
• Strong interest in pediatrics and child healthcare
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a clinical setting
• Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is a plus

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 to 10-hour shifts

Patient Census: 12-16 per day

Patient Population: Infants, children, and adolescents

Duties: Conduct routine check-ups, physical examinations, and health assessments, diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions, provide immunizations and preventive health services, etc.

Any active, unrestricted state license accepted

Must be board-certified
