Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care to patients in various healthcare settings
- Conduct routine check-ups, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe treatments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventative care
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in medical staff meetings and professional development activities
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards in pediatric care
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Pediatrics
- 5+ years of experience in pediatric medicine
- Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Current state medical license and DEA registration
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Shifts: Call coverage from Friday 5p-Monday 8a
Schedule: 2 weekends per month
Setting: Inpatient
Daily Volume: 4-5 pediatric patients
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
