As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality pediatric care, ensuring the well-being of our young patients. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, contributing your expertise to improve patient outcomes and support the operational goals of our healthcare partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients
• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat a variety of pediatric conditions
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to create treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Participate in case reviews and quality improvement initiatives
• Stay informed on the latest pediatric medical advancements

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license in the state of practice
• Experience in pediatric medicine (minimum of 1 year preferred)
• Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
• Commitment to continuous professional development

Schedule: 8a-4p, 4p-8a, or 24-hour shifts

Patient Volume: 5-10 per 24-hour shift

Required Procedures: LP, emergency neonatal intubation, emergency umbilical catheters, bladder catheterizations, etc. 

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
