Description
As a Locum MD in Pediatrics, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to pediatric patients, diagnosing and treating various health conditions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the best outcomes for our young patients. Your expertise will play a crucial role in addressing the healthcare needs of the community while enhancing your skills in a dynamic staffing and recruiting industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients
- Conduct thorough examinations and assess patient health
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare staff to deliver quality care
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
- Associate level experience in Pediatrics
- Current medical license to practice in the state
- Strong knowledge of pediatric medicine and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to children and families
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
Daily Volume: 12–14 patients
Patient Population: Infants, children, and adolescents
Setting: Outpatient
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Any active, unrestricted U.S. state medical license accepted
