As a Locum MD in Pediatrics, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to children, diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, and collaborating with healthcare staff to ensure the best outcomes for patients. This role is crucial in supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services in the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on health and wellness
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in community health initiatives and programs
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in pediatric care (preferred)
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
No call requirement
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Census: 12-14 per day
Patient Population: Infants, children, and adolescents
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Any active, unrestricted U.S. state medical license accepted
