As a Locum MD in Pediatrics, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services, ensuring the well-being of our young patients. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to manage pediatric cases effectively and contribute to the ongoing development of our medical practice..

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical examinations of pediatric patients
• Diagnose and treat various pediatric illnesses and conditions
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment options
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
• Participate in continuing education and training programs
• Adhere to all medical guidelines and ethical standards

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Current medical license to practice in the state of North Carolina
• Experience in pediatrics, preferably in a clinical setting
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred

Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts

Daily Volume: 10-18 patients

Required Procedures: Lumbar punctures, some IJ lines

No circumcisions or deliveries

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
