Location -Littleton, NH 

We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Pediatrics . As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical services in the field of Pediatrics. This position is vital for ensuring continuity of care for pediatric patients and supporting healthcare facilities during staff shortages. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of pediatric cases, contributing to the well-being of young patients and their families.

As a Locum MD in Pediatrics , you will be involved in diverse projects ranging from general pediatric consultations to specialized pediatric care. Your expertise will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating various pediatric conditions, promoting preventive healthcare measures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care. Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality medical care to pediatric patients in various settings.
  • Conduct thorough examinations and assessments to diagnose pediatric conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual pediatric patients.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses to treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in rounds, case conferences, and educational activities related to Pediatrics.
  • Adhere to medical protocols, standards of care, and ethical guidelines.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution and valid MD license.
  • Board certification in Pediatrics or eligibility for certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing pediatric care in clinical settings.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric diseases, treatments, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with pediatric patients.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, empathy, and compassion towards pediatric patients.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare settings and patient populations.

Shifts: Call coverage from Friday 5p-Monday 8a

Schedule: 2 weekends per month

Setting: Inpatient

Daily Volume: 4-5 pediatric patients

Must be board-certified
