This contract, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care within a dynamic medical practice setting.

As a Locum MD in Plastic Surgery, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality surgical interventions and patient management. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients, while contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and consultations
• Perform a variety of plastic surgery procedures
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Stay informed about advancements in plastic surgery techniques
• Educate patients and their families on treatment options and recovery

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent)
• Board certification in Plastic Surgery
• Associate level experience in a clinical setting
• Strong surgical skills and a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Texas

Schedule: 9-hour day shifts, 2-4 days per week

Shifts available at multiple facilities

Setting: Clinic and OR

Daily Volume: ~16 clinic patients or 3-5 surgeries

Duties: Breast reconstruction, combo cases with breast surgery, consults, and follow-ups

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
