As a Locum MD in Psychiatry, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients with various mental health conditions. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Provide psychotherapy and medication management as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in case conferences and clinical meetings
• Stay informed about advancements in psychiatric practices and treatments
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations and ethical standards

Requirements

• MD degree with specialization in Psychiatry
• Active medical license to practice in the state of Alabama
• Experience in psychiatric evaluations and treatment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and confidentiality
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Flexibility to adapt to various patient needs and treatment protocols

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

Call shifts required

Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Duties: Diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, medication management, follow-up care, etc.

Any active, unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory accepted

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Paid travel & expenses
