Description
In this role, you will provide specialized care in pulmonology and sleep medicine, diagnosing and treating various respiratory and sleep disorders. You will work collaboratively with our dedicated healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care and contribute to ongoing clinical initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluations and management of patients with respiratory and sleep disorders
- Conduct diagnostic procedures and interpret results to formulate treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in pulmonology and sleep medicine
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options and health management
- Support the training and mentoring of junior medical staff
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Colorado
- Completion of residency in Internal Medicine or Pulmonary Medicine
- 1-3 years of experience in pulmonology and sleep medicine
- Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Setting: Outpatient clinic
Patient Volume: 12-16 per day
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
Duties: Clinic care for pulmonology and sleep medicine patients, read PFTs (sleep medicine), order and review diagnostic tests, manage prescription refills and related follow-up, etc.

Board certification required
