 This contract position is offered on-site, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to our dedicated healthcare team while making a significant impact on patient care in the field of radiation oncology.

As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with cancer, utilizing advanced radiation therapy techniques. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans, ensuring the highest standard of care. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement tailored radiation therapy treatment plans.
• Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in radiation oncology practices.
• Ensure compliance with all medical regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
• Medical license to practice in the state of Missouri.
• Previous experience in radiation oncology is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Commitment to patient-centered care.
• Fellowship training in Radiation Oncology is a plus.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7a-4p & Friday, 7a-12p

Weeknight call

Daily Volume: ~ 21 patients ( ~8 outpatient visits)

Responsibilities: New patient consultations, follow-ups, OTV, and imaging review

Case Types: Breast, lung, CNS, skin etc.

Procedures Required: CT simulation & 3D conformal planning

Dedicated support staff

Must be board-certified
