As a Locum MD specializing in Radiation Oncology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using advanced radiation therapies. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored treatment plans that align with the latest medical advancements and protocols. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
• Develop and execute individualized radiation treatment plans
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure coordinated patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and processes
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in Radiation Oncology
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss treatment strategies
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with regulations

Requirements

• Valid MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Associate-level experience in Radiation Oncology
• Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Current medical licenses and certifications relevant to the practice
• Experience with advanced radiation therapy techniques is preferred
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Schedule: 7:30a-4:00p, specific shifts

No call requirement

Daily Volume: 19-25 patients

Support Staff: Nurse navigator, dosimetrist, and physician

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & lodging
