As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images to aid in the treatment of patients. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and contribute to the overall success of our medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct radiological examinations and interpret results
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient treatment plans
- Provide accurate and timely diagnoses based on imaging studies
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in radiology
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
- Consult with referring physicians regarding imaging findings
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active medical license to practice in the state of Georgia
- Experience in radiology, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with radiology software and imaging equipment
- Commitment to continuous professional development and education
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Will perform the full scope of breast imaging and related procedures
Must be fully proficient in all breast imaging modalities, including mammography (screening and diagnostic), breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image‑guided breast biopsy procedures
EMR: CPRS
Any active, unrestricted U.S. medical license accepted
Must be board-certified
