This contract position requires on-site presence, offering a unique opportunity to engage in patient care and collaborate with a dedicated team in a dynamic medical practice environment.

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients through advanced imaging techniques. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes and supporting our mission of providing high-quality medical care. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct and interpret radiologic examinations and imaging studies
• Provide accurate and timely diagnoses to assist in patient care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in radiology
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in radiologic technology
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding procedures
• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
• Document findings and maintain accurate patient records

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of residency in Radiology
• Active medical license in the state of California
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with advanced imaging modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8a-5p

No call shifts required

Daily Volume: ~56 cases

Cases: All modalities, including interventional procedures; tomosynthesis, ultrasounds, MRIs, image-guided biopsies, pre-op localizations, etc.

PACS: Synapse

Reporting: PowerScribe

Mammography Viewer: Hologic

MRI Software: CADStream

Must be board-certified
