 This contract position is an on-site role that offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality medical care within our esteemed medical practice.

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients through imaging technologies. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services and improving patient outcomes. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and participate in various diagnostic imaging projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
• Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses
• Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss patient cases
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices
• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Provide guidance and support to radiology technicians
• Stay updated on advancements in radiology practices and technologies

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Radiology
• Active medical license in the state of California
• Strong clinical skills and expertise in diagnostic imaging
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Prior experience in a medical practice setting is preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6a-3p or 8a-5p

Setting: Remote

Daily Volume: 80-100 cases

Will read general studies

Pacs: Merge

Dictation: M*Modal

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
