As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients using advanced imaging techniques. You will work closely with our dedicated medical team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and participate in various radiological procedures that align with our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct radiological examinations and interpret imaging results
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
- Stay current with advancements in radiology and medical technology
- Provide training and support to junior staff as needed
- Engage in continuous professional education and development
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Current board certification in Radiology
- Valid medical license to practice in Ohio
- Strong understanding of radiological principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
Schedule: Weekdays, 8a-5p
Call: Weekdays (5p-8a) and weekends (Friday 5p-Monday 8a)
Daily Volume: 5-8 procedures
Required Procedures: Central venous access, percutaneous biopsy/drainage, mesenteric arteriography, venous/DVT/IVC filter, trauma embolization, nephrostomy/biliary
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
