Responsibilities

• Conduct radiological examinations and interpret results
• Collaborate with other medical staff to determine the appropriate imaging requests
• Provide consultations and report findings to medical teams
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
• Stay updated on advancements in radiology techniques and technology
• Participate in team meetings and continuous education sessions
• Engage in quality assurance activities to improve service delivery

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of West Virginia
• Associate level experience in radiology preferred
• Proficiency in interpreting a variety of imaging modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient care
• Ability to adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus

Schedule: 2p-10p or 3p-12a

Setting: Multiple facilities

Case Volume: 7 RVUs per hour

Case Types: ED coverage

EMR: Epic

PACS: Fuji

Dictation: PowerScribe

Must be board-certified
