As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes, making a significant difference in their healthcare journey.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
• Interpret imaging results and provide accurate reports to referring physicians
• Collaborate with medical staff to discuss findings and recommendations
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in radiology
• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
• Stay current with advancements in radiology and imaging technologies
• Provide exceptional patient care and address patient concerns

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active medical license to practice in the state of West Virginia
• Board certification in Radiology preferred
• Prior experience in a clinical radiology setting
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety

Schedule: 7a-4p

Daily Volume: 6-10 procedures

Board certification required
