As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images to support effective treatment plans. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging services, making a significant impact on patient outcomes in our community.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret radiological examinations including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
• Provide accurate diagnoses based on imaging studies
• Collaborate with medical staff to determine appropriate imaging protocols
• Communicate findings effectively to referring physicians and healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in imaging
• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
• Stay current with advancements in radiology techniques and technology
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions and findings

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiology
• Strong proficiency in interpreting various imaging modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Shifts: 7p-7a

Schedule: Shifts available 7 days per week

Cases: ED reads and stat cases

Modalities: X-rays, CTs, and MRs

EMR: Epic

PACS: Change

Dictation: Dragon

Must be board-certified
