This contract position is remote and offers an exceptional opportunity to provide critical radiological services within our staffing and recruiting industry.

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. You'll be responsible for interpreting imaging studies, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. This position is vital to our mission of connecting healthcare professionals with facilities that need their expertise.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to discuss findings and recommend further procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in imaging practices
• Provide consultative services to referring physicians and other medical professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff and medical students
• Stay updated with advancements in radiological practices and technology

Requirements

• MD degree with specialization in Radiology
• Active medical license in the state of practice
• Previous experience in a clinical radiology setting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of current radiology technologies and best practices
• Commitment to patient care and ethical standards in medical practice

Flexible Schedule: 8-hour weekday and weekend shifts available (day, night, and swing)

Case Volume: 56 RVUs per shift

General DX Cases: CT, CTA, PET CT, MRI, MRA, US, NM, X-ray, arterial/doppler

Dictation: Dragon Medical One

Must be ABR board-certified
