Leading hospitals in western Illinois have openings for a Breast Imager and Generalist to assist their teams.
As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services and patient care. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of connecting healthcare professionals with facilities in need. This role allows for flexibility and the chance to engage with a diverse range of patients and cases.
Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Review and analyze medical histories and imaging results
- Communicate findings to referring physicians and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology practices and technology
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts
- Board certification in Radiology preferred
- Strong clinical skills and experience in diagnostic radiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts with offsite call
Shifts available at multiple facilities
Daily Volume: 40 RVUs + 1 procedure or 20 screeners + 20 DX mammos
Must read ABIS cases
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
