This contract position is on-site and provides a unique opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients through various imaging techniques. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes, and you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. 

Responsibilities

• Perform radiological examinations and interpret imaging results
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses
• Provide consultation to referring physicians regarding imaging findings
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Stay current with advancements in radiology and imaging technologies
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards in radiological practices
• Assist in training and mentoring medical staff and interns

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Completion of residency in Radiology
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Strong understanding of radiological procedures and imaging modalities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Daily Volume: 5-10 biopsies, 5 MRIs, and 20 screeners

Breast procedures required

EMR: Cerner, Clario

PACS: Merge, Inteleviewer

Must be board-certified
