We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Radiology . As a Locum MD Radiology, you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical services to our clients. Your work is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of healthcare facilities and delivering high-quality patient care. You will be involved in a variety of radiology projects, contributing to accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and treatment options.
- Ensuring all imaging procedures meet quality and safety standards.
- Documenting patient information and test results accurately.
- Providing guidance and support to medical staff and patients.
- Staying updated on the latest advancements and technologies in radiology.
- Adhering to ethical and legal standards in healthcare practices.
- Participating in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
- Medical degree and valid MD license.
- Strong knowledge of radiology principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostic procedures.
- Capability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to adapt to different work settings and schedules.
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Setting: Onsite, remote coverage at secondary facilities
Daily Volume: 60 RVUs
Cases: Primarily IR and stroke, will read from the general DX list between cases
Must be IR and stroke-trained
Must be board-certified
