We are currently seeking a Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Radiology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services in the field of radiology. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients, making a significant impact on their healthcare journey. As a Locum MD Radiologist, you will be involved in a variety of medical imaging projects, utilizing your skills to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of radiology reports for proper patient diagnosis.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiology technology and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing radiological procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in healthcare practices.
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
- Medical degree with specialization in Radiology.
- Valid license to practice as a Medical Doctor in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working as a Radiologist, preferably in a locum capacity.
- Strong knowledge of radiology equipment, techniques, and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostic interpretations.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Setting: Onsite
Daily Volume: 45 RVUs
Cases: IR and general DX
Required Procedures: Aspiration, drainage, catheterization, biopsy, CT guidance, injections, etc.
Technology: RPCE Tech Stack & Powerscribe 4.0
Must be board-certified
