We are currently seeking a Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Radiology in Philadelphia. As a Locum MD Radiology, you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical services in the field of radiology. This position is vital for ensuring the continuity of patient care and supporting healthcare facilities during staff shortages. You will be involved in a variety of projects, working closely with different medical teams and utilizing your expertise in radiology.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
- Collaborate with radiologic technologists to ensure accurate imaging procedures.
- Provide timely and accurate radiology reports to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Consult with referring physicians to discuss imaging results and patient care plans.
- Adhere to all relevant medical protocols, safety standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and treatment options.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiology technology and practices.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Radiology.
- Valid state medical license to practice in Pennsylvania.
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting various diagnostic imaging modalities.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in interpreting and reporting radiology findings.
- Flexibility to adapt to different work settings and schedules.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p), 1 week per month
Setting: Onsite
Daily Volume: 10-15 PET cases, 20-30 other NM studies
PACS: Sectra
Dictation: Powerscribe
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
