Description
We are currently seeking a Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Radiology . As a Locum MD Radiology, you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical services in the field of radiology. This position is vital for ensuring the continuity of patient care and supporting healthcare facilities during staff shortages. You will be involved in a variety of medical imaging projects, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
- Collaborate with radiology technologists to ensure accurate and timely imaging procedures.
- Evaluate patient medical histories to determine the appropriate imaging techniques.
- Communicate imaging findings to referring physicians and healthcare teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance standards in radiology.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
- Provide guidance and supervision to medical residents and students during clinical rotations.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and technologies in the field of radiology.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Radiology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
- Proven experience working as a Radiologist in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting a wide range of imaging studies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
