We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Radiolog. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services in the field of radiology. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans for patients, while maintaining the highest standards of care and professionalism. As a Locum MD Radiology, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of medical cases and contribute significantly to the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
  • Closely collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and treatment options.
  • Ensure all imaging procedures are conducted safely and accurately following established protocols.
  • Provide timely and comprehensive reports of radiological findings to assist in patient management.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and technologies in the field of radiology.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review complex cases and contribute expertise.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Offer guidance and support to medical staff and technicians in the radiology department.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Medical Doctor specializing in Radiology.
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting a wide range of radiological studies and imaging modalities.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills for accurate diagnosis.
  • Proficiency in using radiology information systems and other relevant medical software.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and providing compassionate patient care.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different work settings and schedules as a locum tenens physician.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12a-7a

Nightly Volume: 20-30 studies

Case Types: Primarily CTs, some MRs

PACS: Sectra

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
