As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in providing anesthesia services and support to various healthcare facilities. Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and consultations
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and support
  • Maintain accurate records of anesthesia care
  • Stay informed about advancements in anesthesiology techniques
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the facility

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Current and valid medical license in the state of practice
  • Completion of a residency in Anesthesiology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and safety
  • Basic understanding of anesthesia equipment and technology

Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p, call shifts 5p-7a Monday-Friday & 24-hour call shifts on Saturday and Sunday

Census: Average 5 admissions, 1 inpatient, 1 ICU patient daily

Travel & paid travel expenses included

Board Certification required
