As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. You will collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to deliver exceptional anesthetic care while adhering to best practices and protocols. Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthetic plans
• Assess patients' medical histories and physical conditions
• Provide post-anesthesia care and support
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed
• Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology practices
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Anesthesiology
• Associate-level experience in a clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and medications
• Excellent patient assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Current medical license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, specific dates

No call requirement

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Volume: 10 per shift

Caseload: 100% GI

Must be board-certified
