Description

As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality anesthetic care to pediatric patients. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and comfort of patients undergoing various procedures. 

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
• Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia plans
• Conduct pre-operative assessments to evaluate patient health
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Provide post-operative care and pain management
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Stay current on advancements in pediatric anesthesiology

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Anesthesiology
• Experience in Pediatric Anesthesiology is preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong commitment to patient safety and care quality
• Current medical licensure to practice in Lebanon

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-4:30p

No call requirement

Routine pediatric ambulatory procedures to complex surgeries in children of all ages

Must be comfortable with adult cases as well

Supervision Model: 1:2 or 1:3

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
