In this role, you will provide exceptional cardiology care while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will be critical in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular diseases, contributing to improved patient outcomes, and ensuring high standards of care. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive cardiology assessments and patient care
  • Diagnose and manage cardiovascular diseases and conditions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures and interpret results
  • Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and prevention
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in Cardiology
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in cardiology
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
  • Current medical license to practice in the state of Illinois

Flexible Schedule: 8a-5p, shifts available Monday-Sunday

Weeknight and weekend beeper call shifts available

Setting: Inpatient

Patient Census: 15-18 per shift

Cases: STEMI call, TAVRS, cath lab, and general reads (nucs, TEEs, etc.)

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
