This full-time, on-site position offers an incredible opportunity for an entry-level medical professional to gain valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

As a Locum Cardiology MD/DO, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality cardiac care to patients while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. This position will provide exposure to a variety of cases, enhancing your clinical skills and knowledge in cardiology.

• Assist in patient education regarding heart health and prevention

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Basic knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 6a-6a

Daily Volume: 3-4 consults, 4-8 stress tests, and 5-12 echos

Duties: Consult patients in ED and inpatients, collaborate with hospitalists and specialists, supervise stress tests (pharmacological /exercise), interpret OP and INPT echocardiology, Holter, event monitors 

Preferred Procedures: TEE, transvenous pacing, tilt table interpretation

Support Staff: Cardiology manager, echocardiographers, and cardiology technicians

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
