Rinvio Recruitment is actively seeking a Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery . Responsibilities

• Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures with precision and care
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient treatment plans
• Monitor patient recovery and adjust treatment as necessary
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Participate in departmental meetings and case reviews
• Stay current with advancements in cardiothoracic surgical techniques
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety protocols

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Mid-senior level experience in a surgical setting
• Strong surgical skills and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice
• Active medical license in the state of practice

Level II trauma

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts

Required Procedures: CABG and valve cases, as well as thoracic coverage

EMR: Epic

Board certification required
