Description In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. As a Locum MD or DO in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery, your role is vital in maintaining the continuity of care for patients in need of specialized surgical interventions. Responsibilities:

• Performing cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures with precision and care.
• Assessing patients' conditions and determining appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Documenting patient progress, procedures, and outcomes accurately.
• Participating in rounds, consultations, and medical conferences as required.
• Adhering to all medical protocols, standards, and regulations.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families.
• Responding promptly to emergencies and urgent situations.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery.
• Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
• Excellent surgical skills and knowledge of the latest techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare settings and schedules.

Schedule: 24-hour call, 7-day stretches preferred

Procedures: Cardiac, thoracic, and vascular

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
