Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients in critical condition

  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Georgia
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge in critical care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
  • Prior experience in a critical care setting preferred

Schedule: 7a-7p

Beeper Call Shifts: 7p-7a

Daily Volume: 10 patients, 4-5 admissions

8-bed ICU

Duties: Admissions, cross cover, and pulmonary consults

Required Procedures: Tracheal intubation, central lines, chest tubes, arterial lines, dialysis catheter, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, conscious sedation, bronchoscopy

Support Staff: Hospitalists, ER MD, respiratory therapists, and ICU nursing

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
