As a Locum Electrophysiology Physician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with other healthcare professionals in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and assessments in the field of electrophysiology
- Diagnose and treat a variety of cardiac conditions
- Perform electrophysiology studies and procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient interactions accurately and in compliance with regulations
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Stay current with advancements in electrophysiology and cardiology
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in electrophysiology, preferably 1-3 years
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Some call shifts possible
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Patient Census: 10-15 per day
EP/pacemaker experience required
Team Structure: 5 MDs, 5 APPs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
