As a Locum MD/DO in Emergency Medicine, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in emergency situations. You will work collaboratively with other medical staff to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, ensuring that they receive timely and effective medical attention. Responsibilities

• Provide immediate medical attention to patients in emergency situations
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patient conditions
• Implement treatment plans and administer appropriate medical interventions
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Participate in case reviews and quality improvement initiatives
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in emergency medicine
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Osteopathic Doctor (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine
• 3-5 years of clinical experience in an emergency medicine setting
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments
• Current medical license to practice in the state of Potosi
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: 12-hour shifts

No call requirement

Annual Volume: 13,000 patients

10-bed ED

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
