In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency care, managing acute medical conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will be crucial in stabilizing patients and providing timely interventions in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
• Assess and prioritize patient needs in urgent situations
• Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulations
• Participate in continuous education and training
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Current board certification in Emergency Medicine
• Active medical license in the state of practice
• Experience in a clinical emergency setting
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: 6a-6p or 6p-6a

No call requirement

Annual Volume: 20,800+ patients

Daily Volume: 57 patients

15 ED and fast track beds

Support Staff: APPs and full specialty backup

EMR: Epic

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
