As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be at the forefront of patient care, managing acute medical situations and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal treatment outcomes. Your expertise will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality emergency services in our staffing and recruiting industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in critical situations
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and formulate treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards
• Participate in emergency response drills and training
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
• Stay updated on advancements in emergency medicine
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff as needed

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
• Experience in emergency medicine preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
• Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS

Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a

No call requirement

Annual Volume: 13,000 patients

Daily Volume: 35 patients

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
