We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Emergency Medicine . Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to emergency medical situations and provide immediate care.
- Perform medical assessments, examinations, and diagnostic tests on patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stabilize patients experiencing trauma, injuries, or acute medical conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following established guidelines.
- Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff members in high-stress situations.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Osteopathic Doctor (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine or relevant specialty.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Demonstrated experience in emergency medical care and trauma management.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
