Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients with acute conditions in the emergency department.
- Perform medical procedures such as intubation, suturing, and wound care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for emergency medical care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
- Participate in continuous medical education and training to stay updated on best practices.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Demonstrated experience working in emergency departments or urgent care settings.
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to make swift, accurate decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Schedule: 12-hour day, night, or weekend shifts
No call shifts
