Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with endocrine disorders
 - Conduct thorough examinations and assessments to diagnose conditions
 - Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
 - Collaborate with other medical professionals to coordinate patient care
 - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
 - Educate patients and their families about endocrine health
 - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
 - Participate in continuous professional development and training
 
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
 - Board certification in Endocrinology is preferred
 - Prior experience in a clinical setting, particularly in endocrinology
 - Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
 - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
 - Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
 - Current medical license to practice in the state of Virginia
 - Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
 
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
No call shifts
Setting: Outpatient clinic
Patient Census: 16 per day
Procedures: Download and interpret continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps
Current Staff: 1 MD, 1 NP
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
