Seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Family Medicine. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to patients in need. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Adhere to medical protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in continuous medical education and training.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Valid medical license in the state of practice.
  • Proven experience in Family Medicine or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts

No call shifts

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Census: Up to 24 per day

Patient Population: All ages

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
